WHO IS RADIO COMPANION? Radio Companion, Inc. was formed to support the increasing needs of radio stations looking to ignite their internet initiatives. Our core business consists of developing easy-to-use tools and methods, helping our clients apply new technologies. Through these services, Radio Companion is able to save large and small companies, substantial amounts of money, while continuing to provide the quality, standards, and new revenue streams needed in today's competitive marketplace. Combined, Radio Companion's management team has over 20 years of broadcast and internet experience. Our backgrounds range from developing over 1,000 broadcast web sites that generated in excess of $25 million, while maintaining an operating expense of $5 million. Our approach has been developed over many years working in and with programming, marketing/promotions, sales, traffic, engineering, and internet departments at radio stations. All aspects of the merging industries of broadcasting and the internet have been, and continue to be our core focus. Individually, each member of our senior management team has held executive level positions in broadcast and internet companies from content and streaming providers, to e-commerce solutions. As internet relates to the broadcast industry, we are continually called upon to speak on panels and discussion groups, as well as consult for television and radio stations that relate to our expertise. We have been featured as experts in radio talk shows and publications such as the Wall Street Journal, LA Times, R&R (Radio and Records), Radio World, Billboard Magazine, Radio Ink, and others. WHAT IS OUR PHILOSOPHY? The ability to increase market share and revenue is the core philosophy of Radio Companion. The way we achieve this is by maintaining balance with the 3 major departments of a broadcast station, we use the SPM, which is a core philosophy within the broadcast industry; Sales, Programming, and Marketing/Promotions. Our goal in employing this philosophy is to work within the business process of the broadcast radio stations, utilizing the existing departments of the station as if the internet was just another element of their broadcast programming. We collectively organize and provide an Entertainment Platform that utilizes daily lifestyle content under the station image and brand that is synergistic to the demographic and psychographic targeting that broadcast stations use in their traditional media programming. The final outcome is to service the audience more effectively, increase unique visits, page views, and time spent viewing the station web sites and consuming of the stations on-demand and live broadcasts. By utilizing the S.P.M. it maintains and grows current terrestrial and internet ratings and audience loyalty, bringing their audience closer, allowing us to assist our customers in achieving their growth and revenue goals.
